Putting our (Common)wealth of experience to good use

Team SERIOUS took a dip with two Commonwealth swimmers last week in partnership with our client, local snack brand, Forest Feast.

We joined NI superstars, Jordan Sloan and David Thompson, - and some members of the NI media – for a ‘swim sesh’ at Aurora Swimming Pool, Bangor, where the Commonwealth athletes put us all through our paces with hour-long, one-to-one coaching.

It was great to see guys from Northern Woman, Sunday Life, Belfast Times and Cool FM’s Curtis McCosh there to perfect their strokes in time for summer.

The day was part of the brand’s current #nutsaboutswimming campaign, which we’ve been working hard on for the past couple of months, and were only too delighted to launch in May, just in time for International Learn to Swim month.

The integrated campaign includes radio advertising on Cool FM, all-island product placement and sampling at various events across Ireland – all to raise awareness of the on-pack promotion running on the Forest Feast Wholesnack range, which offers consumers the chance to win courses of swimming lessons.

Forest Feast has been a long-standing advocate of swimming in Northern Ireland, having been a sponsor of the AquaSprint Junior League for a number of years. The campaign is based on the insight that one in three 11 year olds leave school unable to swim, and has been launched to educate NI families on the importance of swimming as part of an active lifestyle for children.
